Re-thinking Braille's learning experience
Handi Exceller designed his product responding to a specific problem: How to offer a learning experience which is fun, independent, and inclusive.
In partnership with Braille Teacher, visually impaired colleague and expert seeking to adress this point, we came up with Br’eye, an innovative braille learning solution with the aims to be evolving, costomizable and adaptative. Our mission: to render the learning of braille a unique experience.
Exceller is innovating
The company does not stop at producing tools and products made for Braille learning. It is a whole ecosystem of inclusion that is being put together. The Br'eye device and upcoming ones will be the result of collaboration with the people involved as well as continuous improvement.
Inclusiveness, accessibility and evolution are the key principles of Handi Exceller. It's time to act each on a personal level for increased benevolence and solidarity in this ever-changing society.

Creation of the Br'eye project
Initially, we were 3 high school students with only one idea in mind: answering needs of people in a handicap situation. While meeting visually impaired neighbor, we identified a specific problem: learning Braille. That's when the Br'eye project was born.
Mini-Entreprise EPA
After our graduation, we were eager to continue with Br'Eye. We therefore participated in the EPA program (Entreprendre pour Apprendre) and created a mini-company composed of 10 students. The first improvements and user tests allowed us to carry on with the project and to win the jury's heart prize at the national EPA championship.
Entry to PEEL
Décelant le potentiel du projet avec les acteurs du monde du braille. Nous avons continué à développer Br’eye au sein du PEEL (Pole Entreprenariat Etudiant de Lorraine). Nous avons renforcé nos échanges avec les apprenants et encadrants en braille pour proposer un produit à la hauteur de leurs attentes.
Joining the Lorraine Incubator
The project began to innovate and is now closely linked to public research with its integration into the Lorraine Incubator, one of such excellence. Thanks to them, the project has gained in size and allowed to establish the company.
Creation of Handi Exceller
The company is founded to further expand Br'eye and finalize its development. Handi Exceller's objective is to offer several learning and gamification tools at the service of visually impaired individuals.
